Scope

This policy applies to the Ravel game, our public website, Daily Knot, and related leaderboard or support services. Ravel is account-free: you do not need to provide an email address or create a login to play.

Game Data

Ravel stores campaign progress and settings on your device. Depending on the release build and enabled online features, the app may create an anonymous installation or session identifier and send gameplay events such as level identifiers, difficulty, moves, snags, hints, timing, Daily Knot activity, Golden Runes, and settings interactions. We use this information to operate the game, understand quality, protect public endpoints, and improve the experience.

Qualifying Daily Knot scores are shown under a public alias generated by Ravel from the anonymous installation identifier. Players cannot choose this alias.

Diagnostics, Leaderboards, And Service Providers

When those services are enabled in a release, Supabase processes anonymous analytics and Daily leaderboard requests, and Sentry processes crash and diagnostic information such as app version, device or operating-system context, and technical breadcrumbs. These providers help us run and secure Ravel; they do not give you a public account.

ravel.gg is hosted as a public website. The site does not offer a user account or use a browser advertising-preference center in this version. Standard web requests are processed by the hosting infrastructure needed to deliver the site and its public leaderboard pages.

Purchases, Ads, And Notifications

If a release offers a Remove Ads purchase, Apple or Google processes the payment. Ravel receives purchase or restore status needed to provide the entitlement, not your payment-card details. If advertising or another third-party SDK is enabled in a future release, we will update this policy and the applicable store disclosures to match that release.

If you turn on reminders, Ravel can schedule local Daily Thread notifications on your device. Remote push notifications are not required for those local reminders.

What We Do Not Ask For

Ravel does not require your email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, camera input, microphone input, health data, password, or payment-card details to play.

Your Choices And Deletion Requests

You can clear local game data by deleting the app or clearing app data in your device settings. To request review and deletion of eligible server-side leaderboard or analytics data, contact support@ravel.gg with the public leaderboard alias shown with the score, relevant Daily Knot details, Ravel version, and approximate dates of use. If a release provides an installation identifier, include it too. Fully anonymous analytics may not contain enough detail to identify one installation without that identifier. Children And Families

Ravel is a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.
